Our priority is quite simple – the health, safety and education of your child.
We aim to provide a real ‘home from home’ experience for your child, ensuring an interesting an exciting time for them.
Laura, our manager, has been with us for three years and is fully trained in Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection, as well as holding current DRB checks.
We have a staff of fourteen practitioners, all of whom are qualified in childcare or working towards a recognised childcare qualification. The team are constantly updating their skills through in house and external training and qualifications.
In addition, for your peace of mind, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework with regards to a key person approach. They recommend:
“The key person must help ensure that every child’s learning and care is tailored to help the child become familiar with the setting, offer a settled relationship for the child and build a relationship with the parents.”
To enable this your allocated key person will be available to discuss your child’s progress with you at any time during their stay with us. In order to help with the initial settling in period for a new child, we will ask you some questions about home routine and everyday habits.
