We also have a secured double door entry system with the outer door leading into the reception lobby whilst the inner door remains secure. We have a strict policy that only parents and named substitutes can collect your child.

It goes without saying that every available precautionary measure has been taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your child whilst in and around our nursery. We have a CCTV system installed as well as a regulated fire alarm system in place with fire drills being held on regular basis. Each activity room is fitted with smoke alarms and panic alarms are situated throughout the building in the case of emergencies. You may or may not be aware that the Highnam Day Nursery is situated right next door to the local GP's Surgery, perhaps giving you a little more peace of mind.

On the exterior we have adequate car parking bays and a bicycle rack for those parents and members of staff that may require them. We also have a secure pedestrian gate entrance and a lockable vehicle gate that will be secured during the hours that we do not operate.
